Using a naming convention for Content Items
A Section contains one or more Content Items. Every Content Item is built from a particular Content Type.
Using a clear naming convention for Content Items will help to identify them for later editing, and for filtering in lists when the content is ready to approve. The example shown in the image is from a Section named About Us:
- the Content Items are prefixed about-us-- to indicate their parent section context
- the Content Items are further named to indicate their specific content - e.g. intro or training-education
- the Content Type for each of these Items is One-Web General Content - shown with an icon
Content Item names are best to be fairly short but meaningful. Show some context then specificity in the name but there's no need for overly long text - there's a character limit of 200 characters.
