On the right side of the interface, the Media items within a particular Category (folder) are listed with their attributes.
This list can be filtered, and sorted (to some extent). If you aren't seeing items you expect, check that the Filter field is clear and Display is set to All:
The Actions button on a particular Media item offers:
- Edit - to update an item or change its attributes
- Move - to another category
- Variants - not usually needed
- Download - a copy of the item for viewing offline
- Delete - mark as Inactive for future removal
Multiple checkboxes can alternatively be ticked for Bulk Actions (Move or Delete).

Media item properties
Edit an item to see its current properties.
- General - main item properties - note how Media items should be named and make sure there is a Description (alternative text for images)
- Variants - not usually needed
- Categorization - an item can be marked to 'mirror' in more than one category if required
- History - of user edits on this item
- Usage - where the media item is referenced from current content, a very useful report - for example, before deleting the item
