Requesting short URLs

Webteam can create Short URLs which redirect a simple web address to an existing T4 page.

The purpose of a short URL is to provide a web address that is easy to remember and type into a web browser. The most obvious uses are in:

• print documents
• social media posts

Email webteam@uhi.ac.uk to request a short URL. 

Examples of short URLs redirecting to a page with a much longer URL would be:

• www.uhi.ac.uk/apply redirects to www.uhi.ac.uk/en/studying-at-uhi/first-steps/how-to-apply
• www.uhi.ac.uk/fees redirects to www.uhi.ac.uk/en/studying-at-uhi/first-steps/how-much-will-it-cost
• www.uhi.ac.uk/golf redirects to www.uhi.ac.uk/en/studying-at-uhi/golf
